About

Hi, I'm Emily.

Reaching out is often the hardest step. If you've made it this far, something in you is already asking for change. My job is to make what comes next feel less daunting.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the quiet feeling that something isn't working the way it used to. My approach is collaborative and grounded: we go at your pace, name things honestly, and build practical tools alongside deeper insight.

Sessions are available in person in downtown Ann Arbor and by secure video anywhere in Michigan.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If something in your life feels stuck, heavy, or harder than it needs to be, that's reason enough. You don't need a crisis or a diagnosis to benefit. The free consultation is a good place to explore whether it feels like a fit.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Secure video sessions are available to anyone located in Michigan, alongside in-person sessions in downtown Ann Arbor.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you share in session is confidential, with a few legally required exceptions (such as risk of serious harm), which we'll review together in your first session.
How long does therapy take?
It varies. Some people come for a few months around a specific challenge; others stay longer for deeper work. We'll check in regularly so the work always feels purposeful.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations may be charged the session fee.
